Never in the history of the United States have we seen a President make more policy mistakes and poor decisions. Joe Biden has failed at everything he has attempted. He has been a colossal failure on the one-year anniversary of his inauguration.
Even the two pieces of legislation touted as victories by the Biden administration had nothing to do with him. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which served as the foundation for COVID-19 legislation, was already in the works before Biden took office. Joe Biden had nothing to do with his self-proclaimed "big win" of passing a bipartisan infrastructure bill. While both Republicans and Democrats voted to pass H.R. 3684 with compromises, a large portion of the $1.2 trillion package is unrelated to infrastructure. The only two things Joe Biden brags about as administrative triumphs aren't. Everything else he's tried has failed. The Biden administration's southern border policy has resulted in a national security and humanitarian crisis.
Joe Biden's allegiance to his party's radical progressives eroded American energy independence. Americans have seen Joe Biden's policies drive up gas prices. Similarly, inflation is higher than it has been in nearly four decades.
Joe Biden's steadfast adherence to an ill-conceived strategy for withdrawing US troops from Afghanistan embarrassed the United States. Biden embarrassed himself and our great country. Similarly, crime has increased across the country during Biden's first year in office.
He has no plan to deal with it. Sleepy Joe and his handlers offer no apology and, worse, no plan, as they have with all of Biden's previous gaffes. Joe Biden has taken a country that is struggling to recover from a devastating global pandemic and made things worse. Americans are dissatisfied. The vast majority of Americans believe Joe Biden has made "America worse," not better. During the Sunday broadcast of "Face the Nation," CBS hosted a group of six people. Margaret Brennan, the show's host, interviewed the six-person panel. Throughout the pandemic, CBS has been listening to various opinions and viewpoints from Americans. The topics they have covered include the economy, the border, and, of course, COVID-19.
Brennan asked one pointed question during the interview. "Who feels like we're in a better place now than we were a year ago?" she asked the panel's six members. Brennan, a member of the liberal mainstream media, was taken aback by the reaction. The panel's six members unanimously said "no." The majority were unequivocal. Brennan was so taken aback by the response that she asked again, "No one believes we are in a better position?" Every member of the panel remained steadfast in their response. This panel included Biden supporters. "I just don't understand," one independent voter, Beth, lamented. I assumed this would be a president for the people by the people." Nobody on this panel would be accused of being a fervent supporter of President Trump. The panel was moderately to strongly left-leaning.
